We are general contractors, licensed as both Insurance Adjusters and Home Builders, who help homeowner with their insurance claims. Whether your roof or exterior has been damaged by hail, wind, fire, or otherwise, we’ll work directly with your insurance company to help you get the repairs or replacements that are entitled to you. Our team performs all the repairs in the insurance estimate.

Our owner has inspected thousands of roofs of different architectural designs all over the country, which taught him how to identify the weak points of a roofing system. This enables our professionals at Bluefin Exteriors to take extra steps in our roof installations to prevent premature failures.

Our staff consists of licensed general contractors, experienced and licensed insurance adjusters, and certified home inspectors. We offer fully-transferable written workmanship warranties and written contracts.

Meet Our Owner, Shane Crews

I’ve been an independent insurance adjuster since 1995, traveling the country to work major storms and catastrophes for multiple insurance carriers. I’ve also spent time professionally as a claims re-inspector, an adjuster trainer, and a claims manager.

Prior to being an insurance adjuster, I was a building manager with Legacy Homes, Grand Homes, and Colonnade Custom Homes in the state of Texas. I have always been in the construction industry and in between storm assignments I would do home repairs, with a focus on insurance claim repairs.

My company changed names in 2017 from Crews Construction Co., LLC (founded in 1998) to Bluefin Exteriors, LLC. That’s because we now focus exclusively on helping insured homeowners with their claims after damage from storms, fires, water intrusion, and the like.

Since I’ve been in the claims industry for so many years, I have acquired knowledge that makes my team and I better equipped than most to help homeowners get what they deserve after a loss. We know how the insurance industry operates and are uniquely able to understand insurance policy language.
